EMS Lookup provides certification monitoring, notification, and related administrative tools for fire departments, EMS agencies, and authorized organizations. The Service is designed to assist with tracking and monitoring certification status and expirations and is not a substitute for official regulatory or licensing systems.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt system security or operations
- Use the Service to transmit unlawful or harmful content
- Share account credentials with unauthorized users
- Use the Service in violation of applicable privacy, employment, or regulatory laws
Accounts and Authentication
Access to EMS Lookup requires authenticated user accounts.
Customer organizations are responsible for managing user access and permissions within their organization.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity occurring under their account.
Certification Information
EMS Lookup may display certification and licensing information obtained from customer organizations and publicly available or authorized data sources, including the State of Ohio EMS Provider certification system.
The State of Ohio EMS Provider certification system remains the official source of record for certification status information.
EMS Lookup does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party certification data and such data may be delayed, incomplete, or subject to synchronization or processing errors.
EMS Lookup is not an official government or regulatory system and does not replace verification with official state or licensing authorities.
Notifications and Communications
EMS Lookup may send account-related notifications, alerts, reminders, email communications, and SMS messages related to certification status, expirations, account activity, and system operations.
Alerts and notifications are provided as a convenience only and may be delayed, duplicated, or not delivered. EMS Lookup does not guarantee real-time delivery or receipt of any notification.
Customer organizations and users remain solely responsible for monitoring certification status, staffing compliance, and operational readiness.
SMS Messaging Terms
By opting into SMS communications from EMS Lookup, you agree to receive text messages at the mobile number you provided.
Message frequency varies depending on account activity and alert configuration.
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier plan.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Availability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EMS Lookup shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of the Service.
EMS Lookup is not responsible for decisions made based on certification information, notification delivery failures, delays in third-party data sources, or operational, staffing, or compliance decisions made by customer organizations.
In no event shall EMS Lookup be liable for any loss of revenue, staffing disruption, regulatory penalties, or operational impacts.
Data Retention
EMS Lookup retains information as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain security and audit logs, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Security
EMS Lookup uses HTTPS encryption and reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect customer information.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and EMS Lookup cannot guarantee absolute security.
Termination
EMS Lookup may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms & Conditions or for misuse of the platform.
